Alice has been playing hard. The kids go outside or to the gym twice a day (depending on the weather), they have story time and even finger paint. With this new class set-up, the kids only get one nap (11a-1p-ish) so our girl is obviously extraordinarly tired. Last night, John said that she passed out at 6:45pm and was out cold until 5:30am this morning. (I have been working really long hours this past week doing a lot of proposal writing, etc. - 85 hrs since last Friday! John has stepped up to the plate and has taken care of Alice all on his own. He will be leaving for New Orleans for 1.5 weeks on Sunday so it will be my turn)
Wanted to share a few shots of Alice's class getting ready for lunch, eating lunch, and... well, you'll see....

The kids get a morning snack, lunch, then an afternoon snack. We are told that Alice loves snack time (usually graham crackers, goldfish, nila wafers) but is not really interested in the school lunch. As you can see in the picture below, she is being fed baby food because she is "choosing" not eat the school lunch.
You can see below...she is done....this is probably the reason she did not eat lunch today....so sleepy. Her nap started long before any of the other kids. LOL. She probably fell asleep at the table. Wonder how well she will sleep tonight? You can barely make it out but my mom made her a fleece napmat - light green with pink ladybugs and white daisies with pink polka dot ribbon buckles. It is just the cutest thing ever!!
